Bonjour à tous! How is everyone doing? I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving for all of you who are in America. I celebrated by having a hamburger and fries haha. Not quite the same as back home with the whole family and tons of food but still really grateful for what I do have. It was also nice to be able to call home and see all the family again. We also got a transfer call this week and we found out we will be staying here another six weeks together. Its super nice because we already know the members and this transfer is over Christmas and New Years so we get to do that with them. Also because I get to finish Elder Constants training. This is the first time I will fully train a missionary! That means be their companion during their first two transfers. I am excited! This week here in Bridgewater has just flown by was pretty good but also kinda slow at the same time. We did a lot of finding and street contacting this week but here is what else happened.
Last Wednesday we had district council here for the first time! It was really good because it was the last one of the transfer so we had a little testimony meeting and had fun. We had one sister who is going home this transfer so it was her last ever but most of us are staying for this next transfer as well so that is nice.
Thursday we had our French class which was really good. We did a review of everything we learned and the people we teach have remembered a lot! They are so cool and because we teach in the church they ask questions some times and see the different pictures and whatnot in the church. It has been such a good way to know people and get them thinking about church.
Friday we did a lot of service. We helped bag up toilet paper at the food bank and then we went over to the Daisy, which is a clothing bank at the Hospital. We did a couple quick things with them and then set up and decorated a Christmas tree there so that was really fun. We then had to pick up a dryer from a store and then took it to an old sisters home and installed it and took out her old one and took that to the dump. It was really quick and easy and the sister was very grateful.
Saturday we started the day off with helping a different sister move. It was really quick with a full group of men from the ward. Later that night we had Volleyball which is always good. We had about 4 non members there which was really good. They all had fun and hopefully they will come back every week too!
Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday we did even more finding and service and all that fun stuff. We actually found one lady who is super awesome! She was raised going to church but as she grew up she lost Jesus from her life and wants to have him back in her life. She is looking for him and wants to learn and grow which is amazing! We also got some snow and freezing rain and it's starting to feel like winter.
Anyway, Life is still good and the Church is still true. I love this church and the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all my heart. I love this time of year because it brings out the spirit of God in everyone and it's just a great time to remember the Christ in our lives. I hope you all take the opportunity this season to invite your friends and family to the special Sunday service on the 22nd all around the world and share the video of The Christ Child with everyone you can. Keep being awesome and have a wonderful week!
Love Yall!

Penny's side note...Josh told me that he had been praying for snow since it is so warm there in Nova Scotia. When he saw that it was finally lightly snowing he hurried and got on his knees and said a prayer of thanks. But they time he got back up he said that it was really coming down in great big flakes! You should have seen his face when he was telling me. He was super excited. But not excited to buy rain boots as his Christmas present. He loves the snow. Maybe if he keeps praying for it they will have their snowiest year ever!
