Setting Apart

Josh was set apart as a missionary on July 3rd.  Then we went to the airport to welcome home Elder Dallin Keeler and then we drove up to Lehi to celebrate the 4th of July with my family.  The first couple picture's are of us trying to get him packed.  It was crazy.  You could tell that he wasn't into it.  I did most of it while he was gone to Camp Helaman.  It also gave me a chance to clean his room up so that I wasn't left with a huge job after he was gone. 

 Josh was President Carnavale's first youth missionary.  He had set apart the Everette's before they left on their mission but Josh was the first one with all the family there.  

 We had a nice turn out.  I wish Brad had come but he wasn't able to make it. 

 I am very glad that Alex was there.  It's great to see your older cousin's set example's for you.  

Opening the Call

Josh got his call on Saturday March 3rd, Brad's birthday.  They had just gotten home from Spartan race and it was in the mail.  It was also the day that Joel was called to be the 2nd counselor in the Stake Presidency and since he was going to be set apart the next day we told him that it would be nice for him to open it then while everyone was together then.  So, after stake conference the next day while President Echo Hawk, a General Authority Seventy, was here to set apart our new Stake Presidency Josh opened his call.  President Bangerter was also here.  He was our Area Seventy who a month later became a General Authority Seventy.  It was really neat to see him sitting in the seats at conference.  Anyway, Josh was able to open his call in front of family and friends and 2 General Authorities.  They had a lot of great advise and made sure that we got a good picture taken.  It was a wonderful experience.
